It is very important to fuel correctly for participation in sport or physical activity whether you are at an elite level or trying to lose weight and get fitter. It is key to understand the differences between different food groups and what you may require for different forms of exercise from short fast activity like sprinting to an endurance event such as a long distance walk.  Dr McHardy is able to advise on nutrition for all aspects of sport and exercise performance as well as assisting in weight loss through her vast experience. She has also worked with elite sports people who have diabetes and is able to guide and advise accordingly. There is a dietitian she may link in with if it was felt more support was required.
